Cancellation and Refund Terms

Last updated 12 September 2026

These terms cover buying access to clearphysics, how to cancel, and how refunds work. They sit alongside your legal rights and do not reduce them.

1. Who we are

Clear Physics ("we", "us") of

Croxton Bank House, Church Lane, Eccleshall, ST21 6PG
. Contact: [email protected].

We are the trader you are contracting with when you buy access to clearphysics.

2. What you are buying

£30 for three months' access to clearphysics, an online revision resource for the OCR A-level Physics A specification (H556).

This does not renew automatically, and your card is not stored for future use. When the three months end, access to the paid features stops and nothing further is taken. If you want to carry on, you buy another three months — deliberately, each time.

Buying before your current block ends adds to it rather than replacing it, so you never lose days by renewing early.

Access begins as soon as your payment is confirmed. We will tell you the end date at the time, and it is shown in your account whenever you are signed in.

clearphysics is an independent revision resource. It is not produced, endorsed or approved by OCR, and buying it gives you no rights in any exam board material.

3. Your legal right to cancel

Because you are buying online, you normally have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase and receive a full refund, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Each three-month block is a separate purchase, so this right applies afresh every time you buy, not only the first time.

This right does not apply once you have started using the product, if you asked us to give you access straight away. At checkout we ask you to confirm two things:

If you tick that box and we give you access, your statutory right to cancel ends at that point. We will confirm this to you by email.

If you do not want to give up that right, do not tick the box. We will hold your access until the 14 days have passed, after which it will begin automatically. You can cancel at any point before then for a full refund.

4. Our voluntary refund promise

Separately from the legal right above, and whether or not you gave it up, we will refund you in full if you ask within 14 days of your purchase.

You do not need to give a reason. We offer this because we would rather you were not stuck with something that is not right for you.

The only exception is where we reasonably believe the request is dishonest — for example where an account has been shared with others, or where the same person has bought and refunded repeatedly.

After 14 days we do not give refunds as a matter of course, but your rights under section 6 always remain.

5. How to cancel or ask for a refund

Email [email protected] from the address you used to buy, telling us you want to cancel. That is all we need. You may use the form below, but you do not have to.

Model cancellation form To Clear Physics, [email protected],
Croxton Bank House, Church Lane, Eccleshall, ST21 6PG:

I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract for the supply of clearphysics.

How we refund you. To the same card or payment method you paid with, within 14 days of us accepting your cancellation. We will not charge a fee for refunding you. Your bank may take a few further days to show it.

What happens to your access. It ends when we issue the refund. Any revision progress saved in your browser stays on your device; we do not remove it, and we cannot restore it if you clear it yourself.

6. If something is wrong with the product

This section applies at any time. It is not limited to 14 days and nothing above reduces it.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, what we sell you must be:

If it is not, tell us and we will put it right. If we cannot repair or replace it within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, you are entitled to a price reduction, which may be up to the full amount you paid.

clearphysics is a revision aid. We take real care over its accuracy, but we do not guarantee any particular exam result, and it does not replace your own teaching, the specification, or your school's advice. Where content is generated or marked automatically, we tell you so on screen.

7. If we stop providing the product

If we withdraw clearphysics altogether, or can no longer provide it, we will give you at least 30 days notice by email and refund the unused part of your current three months, calculated by the day.

For example: if 40 days of your 90 remain when access ends, we refund 40/90 of what you paid for that block.

8. If we change these terms

We may change these terms for purchases made in future. The terms that apply to you are the ones published when you bought. If we make a change that significantly disadvantages you during your access period, we will tell you and you may cancel for a proportionate refund.

9. Complaints

Email [email protected] and we will reply within 5 working days. If we cannot resolve it between us, you may be able to use an alternative dispute resolution scheme, and nothing here affects your right to go to court.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings there.
